PCC  414 Emergency  Procedures 

  Constellation Place: PCC414. 700 Constellation Drive, Mississauga, ON 

WHEN FLOODING OR WATER LEAKS ARE REPORTED ON-SITE:

 

  1. STAY CALM
  2. TAKE NOTE OF THE TIME, THE SUITE OR AREA AFFECTED AND THE SPECIFIC LOCATION WITHIN A SUITE AFFECTED
  3. NOTIFY THE SUPERINTENDENT OF THE LEAK
  4. GO TO THE REPORTED AREA TO CHECK THE NATURE OF THE LEAK AND IT'S SEVERITY
  5. IF POSSIBLE, CHECK OTHER SUITES THAT MAY BE AFFECTED OR MAY BE THE SOURCE OF THE WATER
  6. FOR SEVERE LEAKS, OR IF A PLUMBER IS REQUIRED, NOTIFY MANAGEMENT AND G4S
  7. LIMIT THE SPREAD OF WATER OR STOP THE LEAK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
  8. PREPARE INCIDENT REPORT

 

IMPORTANT NOTE!

 

FLOODING CAN CAUSE FALSE FIRE ALARMS AS FIRE-SENSING DEVICES FLOOD OR GET WET. BE PREPARED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN, BUT REMEMBER THAT UNLESS YOU CAN VERIFY THAT IT IS A FALSE ALARM IT MUST  BE TREATED AS A TRUE FIRE.
